You definitely gotta shop around for tires. A few hours of time could save you over $400 on a set of tires. I think they wanted $1250. I talked them down to $1100, but that was still way too much.

Beware of the STT's, though. While they do great offroad, they wearout somewhat quickly compared to other M/T's. I have a friend of mine who bought them new, and has had them on a 96 Chevy Diesel, and kept it in good alignment, and rotates them regularly. He's put about 12K miles on them, and they've got no more than about 15% left.

I realize you like the STT's, but keep in mind that there are other options out there that could save you money/driving time, and are equally as good offroad, and even better on road.

everybody has tires that they love and hate... some say these particular tires suck, others say it great. I only like the STTS because they were cheaper than what I wanted in the first place. It looks like im gonna go with the KL71s though. because I know for sure they are 800 bucks. online prices are so whack, its unbelieveable.

If I remember correctly the are two varients of the STT one got better mileage and one was cheaper. Been a long time since I researched tires so bare with me.

Those kumhos are sick! I do also like the Dunlop mud rovers. There hella cheap too. They kind of resemble the original bfg m/t

Rovers are sold by SAMS and you can get the road hazard and free rotaions The sidewalls are thinner than some of the other choices. I had a set of Buckshot m/t that are the same tread pretty much the same tire. Pretty sure just rebadged but I liked them.

That's the first time I've heard that. Is that opinion from experience?

I'm picking up a set of KM2's in about 2 hours, so that's my vote. Really strong sidewall, reported great road manners/treadwear for a mt, and they come in 33x10.50, even though that doesnt matter in your case.

going with a 33x10.50 BFG all terrain tire. I drive around alot so buying a MT for a Daily Driver would just seem expensive. I will pick up some Km2s later down the line for weekend trips.

$654.12 including shipping and tax. shipped to my front door.

too late now, but the tire shop off greenback and auburn periodically places a CL ad for 33"x15 BFG ATs for like $650 mounted. i've been tempted, but i really want some MTs since my truck is no longer a DD. i think i might end up getting some firestone destination mts. last time i was in there for my alignment, the guy said he'd hook me up with buy 3 get one free.

i believe it's Dubz City they're off greenback/auburn behind the 7-11. they're the ones who always have CL ads up for those $500 GT Radial MTs every week, but i've seen them post new BFG ATs on there about once a month. come to think of it, i think they're the 12.5" ones, not 10.5", but for the price, you can't beat that - those are $1000 tires!
