Hey everyone, I'm am trying to help a friend with a 2012 Toyota Tacoma 4x4. He wants to get some after market wheels and tires, but we don't know if a 285/75/18 will fit on his truck. Also if you guys could post some pictures of a stock truck with 255/65/18 with 4.5 inches of backspacing that'd be great we want to see how far the tires will stick past the flares.

285/75/18 converted to inches is 34.8x11.2/18...if his truck is stock, there is no way he could fit a 35" tire on it without trimming and hammering. Does he have any lift?
