Tire pressure for Xtra Cab Prerunner
I've got the stock 265/75/15's on my 2000 Xtra Cab Prerunner and the inside door Jam calls for 26 front and 26 rear cold. This seems low to me, but I know these trucks are light, especially in the rear. I was thinking more like 35 psi cold. Anyone have any other suggestions that compliment both tire wear and gas Mileage?

Wow! 35 cold seems a tad high, that would be about 38-40 hot and that would probably be too much air for your tires. The most I would air it up is 30 because any more than that you would have excessive tire wear and your ride would be a bit bouncier
. Overall 28-30 would probably be best IMHO, but others may have a different opinion... that's what make America great, don't it!

I have a 2001 and its the same. I checked with Michelin because thats the brand of tires on it now. 26 front is rear is where to set it at. I have had mine there for a good bit now and it rides fine and handles fine. I think always you are supposed to go by the door jamb. Something neat they also told me was that your tires need to sit 4 hours or more after driving them over 5 minutes to cool down completely before you check the pressure. If you check them hot they will say 3-4 psi higher than they really are. Best time is in the morning when it hasnt been driven all night.
