tire pressure BFG 275/16 AT

on my 98 runner(5250 lbs), im runnin bfgs 275/75/16 rated at max 65psi(3klbs). After doing some PSI calculations, the results show that I should be runnin around 30psi. This seems really low to me-and there is an obvious bulge now.

im thinkin 40 would be a little better...goin to try the credit card and wet tread pattern test.

any thoughts?

I always ran mine at 32psi, on my '99. You should be fine at 40 for street pressure and get better mileage to boot. Just keep them rotated.
