Techno tire with Green Diamond granules

Techno tire with Green Diamond granules
Looking for snows for my 3rd gen t4r, did some research and found a company in canada that makes tires similar to Green Diamond tires. These have silicium carbide bits imbedded which act like studs. I can't find any reviews on the tires so I'm hesitant. I really want the benefits of studded tires without the noise.
The model is Alaska M-2

Currently I have geolandar AT/s in LT265/75r16 (a bit bigger then stock size) on stock 16'' (the x3-2 spoke ones aluminum ones, 16x7 i think???) but I'm bit worried to find out what they are like on snow and ice at -20.
In order to get the less aggressive more road oriented Alaska M-2 (althernative is the ultratrac), I would have to go with either P245/75r16 or LT245/75r16 (E). The distributor told me the P rated ones might feel too soft for handling, and the LT's might be too rough on bumps... so now I'm not sure. He can't get C or D unfortunately, which is too bad cause it seems like C would be the ticket, since I'm only ever hauling people and light stuff. I wouldn't be adverse to P, if the handling didn't get affected too much.
Questions:
- Has anyone tried Techno tires (pneutechno) with green diamond bits in them?
- Will the narrower 245 tires fit fine on my existing rims?
- What are the full specs for my rims (offset, backspacing, width)? I'm thinking of throwing the snows on them, and then getting a new set of wheels for the Geolandars for summer.

You could try the TreadWirght with "Kedge Grip". Since they are a retread they are already broken in and the D load range might off a good compromise of stiffness. Plus they are rather inexpensive compared to all new rubber and also come with a mileage warranty on most of your more common sizes. Living in North Dakota I've found any "all season tire" turns into a hockey puck at -20.

the treadwright with the kedge grip probably bestbet for value and price. usually under 120 for tires each, plus i think they bought out the green diamond tire name.

Thanks for the info!
I ended up settling for 245/75r16s Yokohama Geolandar I/Ts based on reviews/price and availability here... They aren't studded but get really good ice/snow ratings, and they are P rated which is all i really need in the winter, lots of siping. Also went narrower. Will be missing the look of wider/bigger tires but it's only for a few months.
