Lance,

I'm all for those Black Daytona's. I wish I could get them here.

I just hope they work out for you if you get them.

My all time favorite wheel is the American Racing Out-Law II. It looks so sweet.

My vote is for the AR Baja. I never understood the hype with black steel rims. I am sure they are good for people who are off-road a lot, but they look cheap to me.

I voted for the American Racing AR-23 Series 23 cuz it's got the street looks, as well as the off-road fake beadlock looks. And not all rigs look good with the black wheels IMO. Yours might look ok cuz you got a dark colored truck.

I like all of the wheels above, but I voted for something else. Maybe something along the lines of the Axis aluminum beadlock (sim).

Since First Toy had such a bad experience with his Allieds, I am very hesitant to endorse any of their steel products.

I like the Daytonas but just in case I'd go with a one piece cast aluminum wheel.

Lance,
Fair warning on the Allieds.

Oh, these are my first choice but they don't have them in 17. Good for you since youre running 16's- These would look so good on the truck.

Lefty's wheels-diamondback

I like the polished AR Atlas wheels. They look really good on 3rd gens and all other trucks they are on. They would be nice on the 4th. Plus they are proven wheels on and off road.

Whachit dare Punk you are tap dancing on thin ice!

The black steelies are a lot cheaper, pricewise and in regards to maintenance. I bought (5) new black steelies and a spare tire for what I sold my shiny ones for used and now I don't have to worry about polishing, brake dust, scratches - just wash and go - and I got a spare now to boot!

Needless to say, I voted SOMETHING ELSE!

I don't think the tech1's will clear the front brake calipers. We tried on my truck but they hit the caliper.

How bad? You can always just grind down the calipers a bit. What is the OEM backspacing on the 4th genners anyway?

You would have to grind off the caliper then! It was alot, you couldn't get the wheel even close.

I second Brian's (waskillywabbit) choice of the Tech1's with the black lugs from Wheelers Off-Road, they are in the back of my truck waiting to get mounted and balanced.

First I gotta get my lugs from Wheelers, UPS is estimating this coming Wednesday

We need to do a Vulcan mind merge between this post and this post:

Although I don't want everyone to have the same rims as me....... out of the choices... had to go with the AR-23. I love them. They look especially good when they are covered in mud.

I love the AR-23's... Just got a set last friday myself. They look awesome, not sure what gen truck you have, but I know 1st gen runners (2nd gen trucks) look real sharp with them, and they wipe off grime really easily.

i say either the baja or black daytona beadlock ones. im kind of partial to black rims, but i think in your case the baja would look pretty classy imo
