Rim width
I am new here and first time posting. I have been reading alot on peoples setups and have learned a good amount. i have a 1989 toyota 4wd pickup I am looking at the pro comp 4" suspension lift for and it says it works with an 8" wide rim but the wheels i am looking into buying are 10". I want to run a 33x12.50x15 and just wanted to make sure if anyone knew if the 10" wide wheel would work fine with no problems or if should go with an 8" wheel and if so, would the 33x12.50 work on that size rim? This is my first truck project as ive always had cars and lowered. So, i am learning as i go. Thanks for any help

Width should be no issue, check the required back spacing for the lift kit. Often those kits have a maximum back spacing of ~3.75" on the wheels. Since that is about 1" less than the stock wheels, realize your track width will be quite wide if you need to keep the tires covered (i,e, fender flares):

33x12.50s fit fine on 15x8 wheels.

the rims are 3.75 backspacing and i thought they may but wasnt sure if it would bulge to much instead of being on a 10 inch wide rim. I also plan on getting some fender flares but appreciate the information
