New Falken Wildpeak 32/11.50/15 w/pics

Been restoring my 1990. ARB's and gears installed and working great. ...now time for tires.

Falken Wildpeak 32/11.50/15 on stock wheels. No rubbing at all. Stock hight w/no lift.

Nice truck and nice choice in tires. Falken tires are very underestimated in the off-road world.

I was deciding between those, the BFG All Terrain and the Sport Kings. Have you noticed any difference in fuel economy or ride noise? I need something because my bald Duelers won't cut it

I haven't driven the truck in a long time so I can't compare the new tires to anything. That being said, the WildPeak tires are very smooth and quiet. The truck rides very nice and corners better than I remember. As one user pointed out, they pick up a lot of rocks if you drive in gravel. The tires performed well in a very minor off road test at work. I bought them because they were inexpensive and I am not sure if I will lift w/33's or 35's later. I need to get a chance to take it to the Sierras and give a full shake-down off road. It is quite possible I will like it as is. Performance is great on hard surfaces so far.

I was just looking at some of those today for my 88 extracab.

They look pretty nice and are much cheaper than BFG's.

Nice truck! What gears do you have?

Thats because they have zero history or credibility. Both version of the Azenis have been kick ass, but a lot of their pedestrian tires are absolute garbage. I would wait and see how these stack up in the next few years before considering them.

I bought some 31x10.50x15 today. I am willing to take the chance. If I don't like them I will replace them but I think they will be just fine.

nmtoy,

I have new 4.88 gears.

The truck was off roaded on some very hilly steep dirt trails at work yesterday checking a fence line. Tires worked very well. I think you will be happy with your purchase!
