New Cooper ST's... (pics)
#2
On my old Z71 I've tried BFG muds, BFG AT's and Cooper ST's. IMO the Coopers are heads above both the BFG's for over all performance. Outstanding grip on dirt, mud, sand and snow. For my runner I was debating between the ST's and those newer Goodyear Duratrac's. My ST decision was made due to the fact that I knew how they performed and I got a set for $150 less tha the cheapest Duratracs I could find.

I am interested in the S/T's for my 99 4 runner, how's the tread life so far? Also wondering, have used them in the snow yet? I found a set of 4 mounted and balanced for around 7 hundred, does that sound about right? Please post more pics if available, thanks.

I managed 50,000 on my first set. My second set seems to be wearing almost as well. I think these are some of the most versatile tires I've ever seen/had. We've had a 15" snow in December and just had a 6" snow yesterday. They did just fine in both.
