everyone has good points here, some just opinions, and other with experience. Just take in to account the type of wheeling/driving you do most. Then pick type of tire, mud/at etc. Then get picky with brand and such. And lastly, it's all just personal preference in the end...

when it comes to a strictly off-road tire, i'll probably never run anything but an SX or plain TSL again. I had 35x15.5 claws for a while. i guess they look cool. but they sure didnt run cool. it was a whole different ballgame when i put some SXs on the truck. i guess it was the pattern, or the compound. in any case, i dont think ill put anything but intercos on a truck that doesnt see much pavement.
