how many miles expected out of 33x12.50 bfg m/t

i have gotten 28,000 miles out of my 33s bfg mud terrain. I purchased them end of august in 04. (almost 3 years) with isnt that bad for 3 years but when i consider not even 30000 miles and the awsome reputation that these tires have im kinda dissapointed. its a daily driver and driven around town wich is harder on everything. yes i wheel it and go muddin once in a while just wondering how many miles any else has gotten out of bfg m/t thanks.

Yeah, should be able to get 2.5k. I ran my old Xterrains till they were superslicks (bout 23k miles for me actually), I mean treads completely gone, and it didn't blow out. Started seein steel threads and replaced em.

hmmm guess thats somewhat normal thanks man for your input. I found a set of cooper discoverer stt with 40 percent tread for $125 that i will put on in a while. thought that was a pretty good score

i dont see 30k out of a set of M/T's all that bad, esp if there is a lot of on road usage...i would say my A/T's will see about 40-45k at the max, with one tire being replaced soon cuz of a bad alignment...i havent even rotated mine, for prolly about 15k, and they are just starting to show signs of need a rotation..

Speakin of rotation... Which way do yall rotate, diagonal or front to back and back to front? I could never decide which is the better way... Though if you have directional tread, it makes it alot easier since you can only go front to back lol.

radial tires should only be switched front to back. No manufacturer has advocated side to side rotation in years.

i cross rotate my tires and every other time i do front to back. i rotate them about every 1500 since the right front has a bad camber angle.
