Its funny how some tire shops do that, one I went to was telling me not to get them as they were siped and I did not want that off road. Told me I would far better off with a set of BFG MT's

I have been very happy with my Truxus MT's I have wheeled it hard for a year with them and never had a problem with the tires. If you are in an area with a lot of mud I have had some friends with the MT/R's complain there not the best in it.

These are what I'm running:

I've only been running them for about a month or so. They've had very little off road exposure to this point but I'm very happy with these so far. They're not horribly loud on the highway and they balanced better than my 31" A/Ts.

Everyone needs at least one set of Super Swampers in their life!

I ran the Trxus MTs for a while when I had my ZR2 and they were a great tire. Out performed my Baja Claws two fold! Less road noise and did so much better in the snow, it was unreal. Ran amazing in the mud and rocks too! So GO WITH THE INTERCOS, THEY COST ABOUT 1/3RD LESS TOO!!!

I have 265/75/16 MT/R's on my 3rd gen 4Runner, and have a good friend running 33x12.50 TrXus M/T's on his YJ. I love my MT/R's for good streetability and they perform off road, but his are just as good off road, far better in the snow, and cheaper. I can't really comment on how loud the Intercos are, since his Jeep is loud as hell anyway, but whatever noise they make isn't overwhelming or annoying by any means.

I had a buddy running 37" MT/Rs and was not impressed, he switched to 36" IROKs. Another friend runs the 31" Trxus M/T and really likes them. The rubber is quite soft though which is a good and bad thing, depending on how you look at it.

I myself am in a debate about 31" trxus m/ts or 31" baja claws. Both used and for very similar prices.
If anyones got any input on the claws that would be greatly appreciated.

You can't beat an interco tire off the road, but I'm not aware of any interco tire that you can balance well.

Picked up the Trxus and ran them off road once and now I've sold my 4runner. They sure chewed good compared to what I was used to though! Who knows, I might get them back from the guy who bought my runner since he immediately pointed out that he'd need new tires to get better mileage! I told him to give me a call if he removed them and I'd take them off his hands free of charge!!!

I know, how thoughtful of me!

okay ive put over 1000 miles on my trxus so far.

I LOVE them, they are a great tire imo, i wouldn't hesitate to buy them again.

They balanced pretty good. Well good enough after about 6oz. on on side and 5oz. on the other.

They are not very loud, imo.

they are a tough tire, ive chunked a little bit of them, but im still very impressed.

they wear quick though. QUICK. (well lets take into account i have a locker, auto locker that unlocks in turns but it still takes a bit of a toll on the tires imo)

But i love them, so ill get them again unless i learn of something else that interests me!
