Goodyear MT/R and BFG mud terrain size 33x10.50
I've searched all over the board and over the net. I'm getting new tires and I'm really looking for Mud terrain bfg's or the goodyear mt/r. I thought the mud terrains came in 33x10.50's or likewise 285/70r15 i think? Anyways I can find the 33 10.50 bfg mt on tirerack but I can't find it on Sam's club, only Michelin. And the goodyear only does a 12.50 inch width. I didn't think bfg stopped making the 33's in the 10.50 inch width for the mud terrains and it's crappy that they don't make that width in the mt/r's unless I'm wrong.
So um, correct me if I'm wrong or link me to the answer, I can't seem to get the mt/r's in the size I'm looking for. I hope i'm wrong but more input would be nice. I didn't wanna get the A/t's. Any advice or ideas are welcome.
Thanks.

Yep, just picked up a couple of 33x10.50 BFG/MTs a few months ago. I found mine at Summit Racing. They were a couple of $ more per tire, but Summit only charges $10 per tire shipping, while TireRack was about $20/tire.

Don't order those tires from Sams Club as they won't mount anything on your rig if it isn't listed on the door jam as the original size. You'll have to go to Discount tire, or a local tire shop, they should do it for you.

I would confirm with them that they will mount them before ordering them. I tried to go through Sams to get my tires and they wouldn't do it cause it wasn't the size that was on the door jam.

Some shops will only install factory size tires. Others will only mount tires on wheels that meet the tire mfg's recommended width range. For example the 33x10.50 is listed for use on 7"-9" rims. I run them on 6" rims, so some shops would not mount that combination. I just mount my own tires now so I don't have to deal with that.

well ya'll were right. I went to Sam's and they said they could order them but sure enough, they couldnt mount them on the truck unless they were the tire size already on the truck or the stock size...so that means I gotta find some 33's to put on my truck..
Is there any other National tire place that has good deals, such as Sam;s or Sears? Good deals are relative. If I can't purchase the tire, I don't consider it a deal, no matter what the price.
I chose Sam's because they were here in Tulsa and they are in Charlotte, where I'll be moving, so it would give me a place that had life time balancing and a place I could take my truck.
I guess any ideas would be appreciated once again. Thanks.

Discount Tire usually beats any price if you call them with a quote. I did some looking, and there isn't one *really* close to you in Tulsa, but there are 4 or 5 in Charlotte. I don't know when you're moving, so I don't know if it is an option to wait. Even though they don't advertise having obscure tire brands, I personally got my SS TrXus MT's on AR Mojave's there. Sorry I wasn't more help.
