Geolander M/T plus

Yokohama just updated their mud terrain tires for longer tread life and better protection for O-R'ing...

Nice improvements but I still don't like the lug design.

Where can I buy them?!?! They sound great! I've had my eye on the Geolander M/T's for months now but I haven't had the $$$ to get them. I'm ready for tires now and you post about these! Great timing!

Tirerack.com doesn't have them listed yet, but I haven't looked anywhere else.

Thanks!
Steve

Any idea when they will be here? I've got a set of 33x12.50x15 Big-O Bigfoots I could run for a few months until they are here. I got the Bigfoots for free.

What does your tire shop charge to mount/balance/dispose tires? I was quoted over $100 to mount/balance/dispose 4 tires by a local tire shop!!!!!

damn! they are screwing you!

honestly, it depends on what my boss feels liek charging you... its normally like $50 though... lifetime balancing is $11 a tire..... nromally they get you for like $10 mount dismount of each tire.. but it depends... our guys hook you up sometimes... the disposal fee they can bump to like $1 per tire.. brong in your own valve stems.. you get raped on the cost of those... and also i sya keep the tires you are swapping, then come back after hours and dump them.. no one will know....

Now that these are available, has anybody actually run the new PLUS II series?

A friend of mine ran some and liked them, I still don't see how they could have good traction in reverse.

They're here...

Oredered them from a custom truck shop in Livermore, CA, so unsure about a distributor.
