FJ wheels on 2nd gen 4runner??

Just curious - And Yes I did search !
I have my eye on a set (5) fj 6 spoke 17" (265/70/17) for a decent price.
I have a feeling they might rub on my 95 runner.
Any body know the answer? tried it ? Got pictures?

No one mentioned a Jeep ?
Toyota's have a 6 on 5.5 Lug pattern.

OP, the FJ wheels may fit, but with their deep backspacing (I think 4.5-5") I think you may not clear the brake caliper.
I'm sure the seller would not mind if you did a test fit to see if they'll clear, so do a test fit if at all possible

well thats the reason for the question -- seller is over 2 hrs away -- he has no problem with a test fit, I just hate to make that long of a trip and find that they are a no go!

Ok, They will fit the lugs, but you may need 1" spacers to clear the brakes, so don't expect to drive home on them.

And despite what the web wheelers will tell you, spacers aren't that big of a deal.

I got a set of 17" FJ Cruiser six spoke rims on my 1990 4wd Toyota pickup. They fit with no spacers. The 17" vs 15" (original size) makes enough extra clearance for brakes. Even used the centers on the front but had to cut out the middle for the hub to go through. Buy 'em they look good.
