Dayton Timberline MT

searched through numerous threads and found nothing really...i've heard great things about these tires in the mud, but anyone know how they run in the winter? i live in canada and this is an important thing to consider when buying a tire....i hear that they have great tread wear due to high load rating...any ideas guys?
thanks

Cannot speak for the MT, but I run the AT's in 31x10.5 and they are decent in light snow (think powder). In the wet slushy stuff they grip remarkably well, considering they aren't that hot in the rain.

I have a set of AT 32x11.5 on my 93. They would not have been my first choice, but they came on the truck in almost new condition so I figured I'd run them for a while to see how they were. After running them for almost a year on my daily driver as well as in the mud/trails and the little snow we get here in KY, there has been very little tread wear and they have never missed a beat in the snow or mud. Really a great tire. I still plan on switching to BFG's when the time comes, but that looks like it could be a while based on how well these are wearing.

i am going to be getting a set for my rig herein about a month. my friend is going to get the new super swampers the xerious or whatever they claim they are "magical" in the snow but they weigh a ton i guess. my 2 cents
