Cheapest place for BFG/AT's???

I have a 2004 Tacoma TRD and I am looking to buy a set BFG/AT's in the stock size and the prices I'm seeing are really high. They are averaging around $700+ for 4 tires!!

Does anyone know of a place where I can find them cheaper?

I dont know if you have a discount tire/americas tire out there, but thats where i bought mine... They are 32x11.50r15 BFG All Terrain KO's and the set of 4 was $687 out the door and thats with lifetime balancing and rotation (life of the tire) as well as road hazard (they repair for free, if unrepairable then they replace for free)...

Their site is www.tires.com

Other than that, maybe www.tirerack.com?

you a member of costco? i got mine (33s) there, no shipping costs, very low tax (like 3%?) by ordering online and picking up locally (just took 8 days to arrive). the price includes free balance and mount, and unlimited rotation and rebalancing. i paid exactly $600 for four 33x10.50-15. /sheesh/ nice avatar. got more?

You might find them cheaper, but I'm all about the Discount Tire Certificates! Blow a tire, get a free one, free repairs, free balancing and rotation...

I feel that in the full life of a tire, if you have it properly balanced and rotated every 4-6000 miles, you would end up paying more, plus possible flat repairs and problems of the sort...

I paid like $715 out the door for 4 33x10.50's and I think it was worth it. My main problem is that my car seems to supernaturally eat through tires of any tread... I think I'm going to go to 16's some time in the not so far future and get some 295's

Does Discount warranty off road damage like a sidewall tear with the road hazrd warranty.
I'm looking at Nitto Terra Grapplers and they don't have as strong a sidewall as the BFGs and it would be nice if they cover the tires fully.

As long as the discount guy you talk to is cool, you can say that "you got the damage hitting a curb" or something of the sort. That is the reason most off road tires don't have mileage warranties though. I admit that you have to be friends with a guy or two at your local Discount though.

I paid $800 for mine. I bought a odd size that isn't normally listed in most stores. It was about $189 from 4wheel parts warrenty and all. Another store here in hawaii wanted $275 per tire shipped without mounting and balancing
