BFG tire wear

Does anyone have feedback on BFG tire wear for tires mounted on a truck that sees probably 60% street driving and 40% off road, mainly the wear difference between the all terrain tire compared to the KM2?

Are the all terrain and KM2 made from the same rubber compound or is the KM2 softer?

I have the ATs and have had them since 2004 on my truck - only 35K miles on them probably, mostly all street. Tread is excellent - the tires just look a little like....old tires in some places. plenty of tread left.

I've run the bfg all terrains and the bfg km2's. The rubber on the km2s are much softer and will wear much quicker then all terrains. With a good alignment and tire rotations all terrains will last a loooong time ! If you run the km2's or any mud terrain for that matter be sure to keep up with your tire rotations! For 60% street and 40% off road I would go all terrains they perform great and wear way slower.

Thanks for your feedback that was exactly what I was looking for I am most likely going with the all terrains they have server me well on the family SUV. I'm sure grip on rock and general off-road is better with the KM2 tire, but with decreased life from street driving may not be worth it for me.
