Any real offroad performance gain- 32x11.50 vs 31x10.50

I'm currently running 31x10.50 on my '88 22RE(2.5" lift) and am considering my options for replacements when they wear out. 33s would kill me with stock gearing, but I think 32's would be doable. I only live 30 miles from the Oceano Dunes, so I there once in a while and also like Pozo. I have family up by Tahoe and would like to crawl around on some of the trails around there.

Any personal experience with both sizes?

I run 32x11.50 on my 90 runner, and its pretty slow up hills with the stock gears! Alot slower than when i had 31's! but having bigger tires, even by a little is better! So if you arent worried to much about price, maybe look into 33x10.50 and get some wheel spacers so its not so tippy! just an idea!

Get some 33s, they wont kill you with stock gears if you are runnin the 5spd...you wont regret it. I've had both 32s and 33s on my 87 truck/22r and didnt notice a difference in driveability. I did notice the extra 1/2" of ground clearance

Don't be fooled by what the tire size is sold as. Look at the manufacturers website to see what the true tire sizes are. You may think you are buying a 32 but it may actually only be a 31.

As far as gearing, your not going to notice much of a difference.

and get some wheel spacers so its not so tippy!
The dude is going to be rasing his truck an extra 1/2" he isn't going to get tippier.

u will only gain 3/4" width wich is better for grip, and about 1/4" ground clearance
