Alcoa Wheels

I just discovered these, and like them a lot. I had been searching around for a chrome, aluminum wheel with a deep lip, but never heard of or had seen Alcoa until just now. I searched around this forum for some info on them, but didn't find much. I also found their website online, and it doesn't look like they even fit our trucks.

Do they fit our trucks? Specifically, I have a 1994 Pickup 4x4 DLX. I discovered these wheels while browsing around Google images, and saw this truck that had them (1989 Pickup):

I know Alcoa used to make pick-up wheels, but I think they got out several years back. Now they just do big-rig wheels. But there are multiple other companies that make that style wheel. Offset and backspacing will give the deep dish look.

And those wheels are just polished, not chromed, from the looks of it.

Look up American Eagle series 589. They look almost identical. Also Mickey Thompson Classic II, although they have larger holes.

Thanks guys. Those recommendations look good!

Any guesses on what size the wheels in that picture are? 16x8?

15x10 4.25" backspacing with 32x12.50

Just a guess...

Definitely not 16x8, or 16x??. Those are 15" rims for sure.

15" with 31s will fit. As long as the lug pattern is 6x139.7

Alcoa makes tractor/trailer wheels and wheels for light duty 3/4-1ton trucks only.

that's how it is now, but not in the past.

some of the old alcoa wheels were forged, which is superior to the look-alike cast wheels that you find nowadays.

i think that wheel companies make a run of expensive forged blanks, and when they are gone, that's it.

fwiw, the best tire selection is with a 17" wheel, but the cheapest tires are typically 15".
