Aftermarket Tire Monitoring System
Saw an Ad the other day for Tire Monitoring Systems. I became very interested because they monitor tire pressures, and temperatures and put them on a display inside your truck for you. Can even put one on your spare tire which would be extremely useful!
Does anyone have any experiences with these? I'm having trouble finding one that isn't so big and bulky and would fit on the dash well, that's not overpriced. Maybe that's just a pipe dream but I really like the idea of having a read out of tire pressures and temps. Temps could easily tell you if you have a tire separating and save lifes.

eh i havent used them but i know these systems. they are pretty great as a system but here are some things to worry about.
one: if there is another vehicle that gets close enough sometimes the computer will actually steal the tire pressure signal from you system and once they drive away your system is screwed.
Two: with that whole deal i dont think you can go to a tire company and use a reset tool to fix the system if there is a problem unlike stock systems on cars. (although if the kit comes with a reset scan tool that would be amazing)
i cant really think of anything else that could be bad. just dont ever leave them without a valve cap cuz they get corroded and break easy without em.
i would still go for a set. put a thread up about em if you go for it!!
