31x10.5 or 33x10.5 on 15's......??

Gonna put a 2.5" Daystar lift on my 2wd 97 4runner. This will not be taken offroad since its our daily vehicle. I am wanting this for looks and just trying to stay as close to a stock ride as possible. I know it might be a little stiffer but thats ok. I have new 15x8'' rims I want to put on and need ideas for tire size. What would look better on my setup? the 31 or 33x10.5 R15. I know the 31's are close to a stock size of the 16" rims. WOuld the 33's be too tall and look funny you think? Also don't want to kill my mpg or mess with any gearing situations. Thanks

Dont want to kill your mpg or regear?

31x10.5s, or the metric equivalent for 16" rims.
