I currently have the stock 265/70R16's on my 4runner with toyteclift's 3" inch spacer lift installed and i was wondering if i could run 305/70R16's on my 4runner the way it stands? Another thing i should mention is that i have limited flares since it is the Limited edition 4runner.

Any suggestions is greatly appreciated.

you will be able to run them, but it will rub alot. I have the same setup except with 4'' of lift and the only real place it rubs is on the front coils, and im sure it would be the same with yours also. the only way to fix that would be with wheel spacers, but it doesnt seem to rub bad enough to need them.

Hey thanks so much. I think that i will probably get a 1" inch body lift and i suppose i'll go with some wheel spacers, i think that i could make some. I go to school at a machine shop, i could make 1/2" inch spacers out of aluminum. that should hopefully fix my problem.

I'd go with a 285/75/16 tire, these are a little slimmer and might be able to clear better. I have these on my 2001 Tacoma with a 3 inch lift, and only get minimal rubbing (nothing that really matters). Also be careful when getting big wheel spacers becuase you might not have suitable stud length, just my 2 cents

if you get the 1'' body lift along with the 3" spacer lift then youll be fine. the only time it rubs on the coils is when you turn sharp. but the beauty of the wheel spacers is that if you dont like them or think you dont need them, then they are easy to take off. If I were you I would run the tires without the wheel spacers and see if you like it that way. if you dont you can always throw the spacers on.

OK guys , thanks for the helpful insight. I guess what i am going to do is get a 1" body lift from "4crawler" or toytec or wabfab... and just run some 285's on my stock 16x7's without any wheel spacers and i will see how it works for me. i will probably get some BFG's all terrains. IT also seems to me that the best place to order BL's is from 4crawler, since they have the steering shaft extension and front bumper bracket. All i need to do is save some $$$$.
