2nd gen 4runner with 4runner sport wheels

hi friends!!!!
well i just want to know if there is someone using 4th gen 4runner wheels in a 2nd one?
recently i buy a set of 4runner sport edition wheels but some question and doubts still in the air like the need for wheel spacers, and the fitment of the wheel cap. those wheels look nice but i knew i was going to deal with the backspacing not a big problem, all wheels fit nice with out spacers the real problem is in the front wheels add hub is tooooo big to get the center cap in,so logic says a set of spacers will fix this, but the question is wich ones????? trying to get the exact measure needed i found that with a few washers i can clear them and fit the wheel cap but i realize that i need a caliper tool, one more tool to the list!!!
any advice????

You shouldn't have any problem fitting any Toyota 4x4 wheels with any other model:

What to do

What did you need to do to get the wheel caps on the front wheels? About to pick up the same set from my brother who just upgraded...

Tires 195/65 r17 only found in michelin and dumlop and to use tge front caps you need to remobe the internal guts of the cap also the locking wire, in the rig you need to remove the grease cap and use a 1/2 inch wheel spacer the front caps now dont have anyway to secure them so you have to glue them for life with urethane glue before installing the wheels thats all

That doesn't sounds too difficult. Do you know whether or not the center caps off the stock 95' wheels would work on the sport rims w/o modifications? I appreciate the info!

I tried to fit some Tacoma Prerunner wheels on my 4runner and the fronts would not fit. 4wd and 2wd wheels are a bit different from my experience.

Well here it is

1" wheel spacers all around. Front center caps didn't have to be modified. 265/70's don't rub at all and didn't rub before the spacers either

Youre right with 1 inch theres no need to mod the front caps, i used the 1/2 inch because i didnt like the wheels getting out the fenders
