Yeah, it seems like a good deal...but did you calculate shipping. To Alabama, it says at the bottom of the page that it's $100. With that, it will run you around $120 a tire. Which that's not too bad, but you may be able to get somewhere around that locally.

LT255/75QR-17 BFG Mud-Terrain KM

I just ordered a set of these Jeep JK Rubicon specific LT255/75QR-17 BFG Mud-Terrain KM tires for my 97 4Runner to mount on a set of FJ Cruiser 17" rims. They were delivered to the installer today and I need to take the rims in tomorrow to get them mounted. I got five delivered for $571 and that is alot cheaper than any other 17" tires in the size range, even off the wall brands. These are reported to be quieter running than the other sizes of BFG MT KM tires and even the newer KM2. They were designed specically for the JK Rubicon to be quieter. On one JK board there was a post where someone who switched out these KM tires for a new set of KM2 tires and he said the original KM tires were quieter. The 265/75-16 Michelin ATX AT tires I have righ now are about 8-9 years old and have about 90,000 miles on them these will be a big upgrade.

FJ rims and BFG tires

I got them mounted up today and even did half the work myself. The combination of the FJ Cruiser factory 17" six-spoke rims and BFG MT KM tires fit and look great. I do have OME springs so I had room for the larger tires and different offset of the rims. At full droop on the rack there was about 3/8" clearance between the end of the upper control arm and the tire. Turning lock to lock on flat ground there was plenty of clearance and I heard no rubbing on the twenty-five mile ride home. They were also very quiet. I could not hear any tire noise with the windows open or closed, only wind. If someone wants to host a pic or two I will email them to you. The only place I an registered and set up now requires people to be registered and logged in just to view pics so it is pointless to host them there.

Brazos609- can you post a pic - love to see how these look. I was thinking about getting some or these of the new KM'2 in a 255 85 R16 when they become available next month.

The 255/85 will probably be a D or E load range range, right? Wouldn't that be a little too stiff?
