01 4runner with new tires

Hey guys, so my 4Runner 2001 Limited right now is all stock.
tire size = 265/70R16.
i want to get bigger/better tires.
What size do u guys recommend. I want it to raise the 4runner up a little so its higher, but i dont want those bigfoot tires lol.
A size where u dont have to jump to get in (cause i drive my mom around sometimes :/ lol) but i still want it to look like a rockstar
And if needed i guess i have to get some spacers to lift it.
any recommendations?
thnx
i will try to post pics soon.

go with 265/75-16. it will add a little more height. the next size up is 285 and from what it sounds like you want, it will be too much for you after you make the necessary mods to fit them.

im not sure how big of a tire you can go on a 01 since they have the shortest springs could do like a 99 tall coils and some 265x75x16's

to fit the 285s on the 4runner you will have to put on about a 2.5-3" lift and when you put that on there with the 285s, you might have to jump in. i am 6' tall and I kinda have to jump to get in mine...everyone else shorter than me complains about getting in.
