roof top tent
My wife has a 2006 Tacoma and wants to put a roof top tent on the Leer shell that is on it. Will the shell support the weight of the two of us and a roof top tent? I have searched and have not found any pictures of the RTT on top of a Tacoma shell.

I think the only way I would attempt it is with an aluminum frame built under it for support, inside the cap.
The tent alone weighs 125# and the weight of two occupants, another 300-400#...adds up quick.
