Yeah it makes for an expensive adventure. I can't count the times that I've looked at my rig and thought "OK, that's it. No more upgrades.... I'm fine now." Only to see something online or get freaking stuck and the whole process starts over again.

Crap this never ends but I'll be damned if I have a plain old stock rig.

That's Kiyo's rig right? Great looking rig but I'd be afraid to scratch it.

Hell I'd like to have had the first one look like that! That rig is freaking clean..... although I must admit that my sage brush pin stripes and rock rash accents do look good.

Whoa whoa whoa! What's going on here? I wouldn't have even found this nonsense if you didn't tell me, Logan. And it's not plain. It's one little dent from a museum! . Jk, it's not THAT nice, but I still love it. I just don't have a 4th gen too DD while I mess with my rig. And btw, until I get another rig to turn into a wheeler, or get another rig and urn this into a wheeler, I am done. Another quote you can call me on later.

And plus, white hides scratches pretty well. I wish I had one I could build up, if the wife would ever stop spending money!

You RB4R guys are a rough crowd.

Wait, what's RB4R?
at least use a newer pic!

ARB or Engel all the way.
You do get what you pay for.
Think of it as an investment, and never having to buy ice again..

And like Roger said, those other types will drain a battery overnight.
I have ran my ARB fridge for close to five days and my rig still started up.

I use mine for camping trips to keep the food and Henrys rootbeer nice and cold.
And during summer runs, I play ice cream man
Very old picture, that is when the fridge was in the back.
It is behind the drivers seat now.

PS, I had two of those cheaper kind where they will get to 40 degrees below the outside temp, but I used them with my old tent trailer and hooked up to shore power.

Corey I wondered how long it would take you to post up on this thread since you seem to be the tester for all kinds of camping gear. The biggest concern (other than the money) is being able to store the fridge so I can still sleep in the back of the runner. I guess I could set it outside or something when I lay out the sleeping area?

You were never in mister White 4Runner!

Now if you paint it and can do a snorkel in less than three weeks we'll talk. I might even make you #2 if BBP can't get his rig back on the road.

edit: Now that I think about it I actually haven't seen any Royal Blue 4runners other than the one I have and BBP's. I wonder if it was a rare color....
