Here is another pick of the Big Desert North-West of Pocatello. I was out there doing some work with the local chapter of Safari Club International, the BLM, and Idaho Fish and Game when this storm moved in.

For aviator, tonight the menu was flatiron steak with poboy rub (Emeril Essence ripoff) pan seared and oven finished, sweet onion and pepper with vermouth beef broth sauce, 'shrooms with marjoram Syrah sauce, broccoli crowns poached in vegetable broth, Parmesan-Romano risotto for added trans fat hit, garden salad and rosemary-garlic biscuits, assorted Oregon wines.. No time for desert, I have an early flight out of town, so dished H-D pineapple sorbet with Grand Marnier.. Strange thing is, I have the flu and can't taste crap. My guests liked everything, though I think they're being kind.

Oh Man! You're killing me here... sounds fantastic... I'm makin' a mess...
been workin double shifts+ 6.5days a week for almost a month no time for any cooking at all... did get off early on Saturday though [if you can call 19:00hrs. early] went to Casey's [a chain roadhouse type place] had the fall special Bison Medallions with green peppercorn sauce, grilled string beans and garlic mash it was very tasty I'd recommend it to anyone... along with a glass of Ardiston Bay merlot/shiraz from South Africa a very nice red...
I know this is supposed to be the pic thread I'll post one in a few...

Edit: BT can I have the recipe for the biscuits?

Gladly! From my GF's recipe file. They come out 'freeform' since they aren't baked in cups. Leftovers keep in a ziplock for a couple of days:

3 cups self-rising flour
2 teaspoons dried rosemary leaves, crushed
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon fresh coarse ground black pepper
1 cup milk
1/4 cup olive oil
1/4 cup vegetable oil

1. In medium bowl, stir together self rising flour, rosemary, garlic powder and pepper.
2. Stir in 1 cup milk, 1/4 cup olive oil and 1/4 cup vegetable oil to form dough.
3. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto baking sheet coated with cooking spray.
4. Bake at 450F for 10 to 12 minutes or until biscuits are golden brown.
Makes 12 to 14 biscuits.

OK, off into the wild blue, catch you on the return leg...

A. mmm that dinner sounds good. My wife makes the bomb Risotto, I've come up with a few decent dinners like that myself.

B. Ok this happened at UNM the other day. The Lexus is facing the street (Central Ave). It went right down the set of stairs by where they guy is standing, then it tried to go down the handicap ramp to central ave(there is a road between the light pole and the parking garage in the background). It got stuck on the rampt. Go Lexus Urban Off-Roading!!!! The UNM bookstore is to the far left(not in pic).

That'll teach them not to try that shortcut again... love to hear him explaining it to the cops there... "Gee officer friendly I was late for class see and this is my mom's car and it must be wider then my civic which never gets stuck here and..."
