My first real attempt at an HDR image. Pretty good, considering I was using a sign as a tripod.

Cool - how many pictures did you composite for the HDR (High Dynamic Range for those that aren't familiar)?

Wow, the photographic talent on this board is high! It seems I have some neighbors too.. (Ryan).

Here's one that might confuse you for a second. Taken in Seattle.

Tofer.....
Do you hire out your photographic services?
I play on an airsoft team and we need someone to come out and take some quality photos of us in action.
Seeing your night photos i have a quest for you.
Some of our games are at night. Most of us use tracer units on our guns. These tracer units have a real bright LED light. The bb's we use are glow in the dark. When a battle erupts it looks like something out of Iraq with all the bb's flying around. Its really cool to see.
Here is our web site. Take a look. As you can see we need help with our pictures

Airsoft is Fun Fun Fun to play! My brother in law is a photographer in Ellensburg (www.rossjames.com) who likes to play airsoft on a much more basic level. My (blood) brother is a great shot and can evade whole teams even without the Ghillie.

Ahk, I cannot find the image I wanted... .sorry for the off topic daytime shot.

Well, when are you gonna come out and play?
Thanks for the heads up on your brother-in-law. We play out in Easton sometimes. If Tofer cant make it maybe your brother-in-law could come out.

Well... I just have a stock AEG which is only good for close encounters. I wish modded AEG's were not more expensive than real guns! Still, invite me sometime.

Oh oh... ever see a turbo Subaru do this:

boxxerace, what's up man! I like the fire-Scooby.

Here's some recent ones, two night shots from New Zealand (Canon 5D, 24mm f/1.4L lens @ f/1.4, 30 second exposures)

More of an evening shot (5D, 35mm f/1.4L, like half a second at around f/5.6):
