not so much swap questions as questions about the motor, im thinking of picking up an older 302 carbed, rebuilding it with about 11.1 compression and running it on propane, my question is can i use an efi intake for the pane?? ive seen em do it on the 22R and useing an efi intake....any ideas?

 

i'm not sure how that works... see if there is a Propane conversion forums out there.

hahah thanks, ive been noisin around on pirate n such but non of em are using an EFI intake so its making me wonder if it can be done...but i dont see why not, all im using it for is the TB really

 

They convert late models with efi to run propane using the efi intake. If you can make it fit go for it!

 

i would like to run propane so that if i decide to rebuild this motor first i can go ahead and make it 11.1 and it will stay clean and nice inside, but 1200 bucks for a pane kit is a bit steep so...im just gonna try to buy a lower mileage 302 n slap er in n run it for now, just got some motor mounts for 100 bucks
