Just curious!

Anyone think it's possible to put the 6bt cummins into a 1968 fj 40? It already runs a inline 6 so I'm not sure if the cummins is a tad longer or not. I think it'd fit perfect honestly.

Anything is possible. Probably not feasible. Just because it's still a 6 cylinder doesn't mean a whole lot. A 6bt is a good sized engine, and quite heavy.

Why choose a 6bt? What are your plans for the rig?

tags on 86 toyota diesel conversion

Well you be able to register the vehicle after the swap. and do you have to smog it?

All depends on the country and state you live in. Check your local laws

300d turbo

I just got a 300d turbo 85 Mercedes. Its a station wagon I'm gonna put it in a yota. Haven't found one yet but got the hook on one i think a 86 yota.gonna make the altimit coon hunting truck

Manuel or auto trani.? And are Mercedes diesel trans. pretty interchangeable?
