Interest check: MB OM617 pilot bearing guide/drill guide
As per this thread:

Kracken over on the MB superturbodiesel forums put an OM617 motor in an 89 4Runner with a W56 transmission. He posted up a diagram of his pilot bearing adapter that correctly lines up the mercedes crank and toy flywheel, and can also be used as a guide to mark/drill your toyota flywheel for the 12 bolt holes in the mercedes crankshaft.
I've contacted Kracken about making me one and haven't gotten a response back in almost a month, so I'm going to have a machine shop make one for me. I talked to them, and if I have more than three made I can get a discount on them. So, if I can line up 3 other people that want one I can have a run of them made. In talking to the post office and the machine shop the price would be $125, shipped to the continental US in a USPS flat rate box. I can ship to Canada but the additional shipping cost would be the responsibility of the buyer. In addition to the adapter you will also need a toyota pilot bearing (which will likely come with your clutch set), 1/2" steel plate to cut the adapter out of, and a transfer punch set like this $10 one from harbor freight:

Having the adapter would take the guesswork out of making sure engine and transmission are aligned to mark and drill your adapter plate, and also make sure that when you take your flywheel to a machine shop to get drilled that the machinist can't easily screw up drilling your flywheel.
If you are interested please PM me with your name & phone number or email. If I can get a few people lined up and deposits on the adapters soon enough, I could have a run of them made and in my hands before the end of January. I do have a Paypal account for taking payments on them.
