2lt swap

Sry guys, i've not found answers on my question by using search.
I have toyota 4runner '91 with totaly broken 3vz engine. And i have 2lt engine (with wiring). What i need, to swap 2lt into my car? Are 3vz transmission and 2lt engine compatible?

i believe you have to get the diesel bellhousing and swap it out. but the trans should still work.

Correct. The reason why is the gas and diesel have different locations for the starter.

and it's to my understanding that bellhousing is really hard to come by. Might be easier to find over there in Europe though, I have no idea. Keep us updated if you decide to do the swap.

The engine brackets I believe you can use the diesel ones but they will have to be moved back on the frame. If the truck was originally a 22R, I think it will bolt right it but yours is not.
