2.2 3.4 perkins swap

hello everyone,

im wondering if anyone can help me. my plan is to put a 2.2 or 3.4 turbo perkins engine into my 1990 toyota truck. i can mount the engine and rig it up to run.

The only problem im running into is a belhousing adapter to run to a manual transmission. any one have any ideas on how i can mount one of these engines (same belhousing bolt pattern) to a toyota tranny??

any help would be appreciated, thanks

make an adaptor, or all new bellhousing. Probably your only option.

If you're a 4 cyl now you need 3.0 transmission, t-case, drivelines, and crossmember. Also you'll need to move the engine mounts back about 4 inches to run the 3.4 otherwise if you're gonna go to another 4cyl you're fine.
If you are 3.0 now, go read the 3.4 swap section.

Just make your own adapter. I made mine for my OM617. It's not real hard just requires a little time and patience.
