Second Gen 4Runner Transmission Swap.
I have an opportunity to purchase a 4x4 1994 4Runner with a 5 speed.
It has a blown H.G. in the 3.0 V-6.
My 4Runner is a 1995 4x4 with an automatic transmission.
Would the 94 be an appropriate donor for the automatic to manual swap in my 95?.
Or must the donor be the same year?

Yes, that is the PERFECT swap for you. You will have EVERYTHING you will need to convert your truck to a 5 speed. I would just look into getting a new flywheel and a new clutch kit, as well as all the hydraulics.
Make sure you keep all the flywheel and clutch hardware from the 94 so you can use them in the 95. The bolts are different from autos to manuals.
Good luck dude! its and easy swap!
