Engine Swap

I have a 98 T100 5-speed 4x4. I was wondering if it is possible to put the 4.7 Tundra V-8 into the T100. Will the transmission and motor mounts match up. I know I'm going to get another computer and wire harness. And did anyone hear of a supercharger for the V-8.

Is is possible? anything is possible. I think this will be a lot of custom fabrication and electronics. No the transmission will not bolt up with out some kind of custom adapter, and I think the power of that engine would kill that trans as well as the axles.

I wish I had some cash to do this to my T100. drop the 3.0 for a 4.7 would be excellent. yes toyota did make superchargers for the 4.7 for a few years.

x2 on the Super charger they disconntinued them due to the fact that they were breaking rods. http://www.lextreme.com/rods/IMG_0070.JPG
So I would get new rods IF you are going to go with a SC. Yes you can do this swap many folks have done the 1UZ swap (Lexus 4.0), 2UZ swap (Lexus and Toyota 4.7), and 3UZ (Lexus 4.3) Check out lexusextreme.com and uzswap.com

2011 Tundra 5.7 Supercharger Transmission Problem

My friend has a 2011 Tundra 5.7L with a supercharger, cutbacks, headers, and intake modifications. The engine is running great but it doesn't seem to be communicating with the transmission correctly.

I'm obviously new to this but I'd really appreciate some help getting pointed in the right direction.

The transmission isn't shifting on time. For example, if you put the throttle to 100% it will accelerate smoothly through first but redline for a second and the jerkily shift into second.

Any suggestions? New Chip? Where to buy?

Thanks
