7mgte motor swap into 80

when i unplug the afm it wont run for crap. wont rev and sounds sickly.
it idles and runs fine up to ~1800 rpm then like crap like in the video. i can cruise in any gear and it drives great as long as it is 1800 or less. anything over and i get problems.
all new plugs, fuel filter, clean injectors.
when acceling when driving if i get it over the stumble it accels like it is floored even with the throttle barely cracked??? there is no boost during the little cracked throttle but if i open up the throttle it will boost and feel like it is sopose to.
it feels like when a carb has the float set wrong and it is starving the jets of fuel.

i think so i will double check. i have platted off the egr coming off of the manifold and it still did it. so i have the egr hooked back up.here are 2 videos of what it does driving. when it bucks in the first video i am holding the petal steady. when it hesitates it does that with the petal steady and if i push down it is just like n the video of reving it by hand and it not going above the hesitation.

when it is stumbling the petal is steady and on the drive back by the petal is steady and it just comes out of the stumble and accells fine.

changed coil packs and it is still there
-ok so i just checked the tps at the ecu with it running.
-vta at idle is .48 volts
-the stumble starts at .74 volts. (also at 2500 rpm)
-once the stumble starts if i press down on the petal it increases in volts to the ecu up to ~3.7v.
-so i am back to thinking it is a boost/egr/vac leak or something like that.
when the throttle is depressed past the .74 v quickly to say 1.2v it revs up like no problem or stumble.
then when the rpms are still up if i rev it again it will rev like a normal engine. i can hear the bov once i let off of the petal and the throttle body is closed.
i plugged in my spare cps and pulled the fuel pump fuse. turned the ign on and put a spark plug in the end of the #1 plug wire and grounded it to the body. as i turned the spare cps gear the plug would spark the same time the injector would click/fire. so i know my wiring and ecu are seeing the cps signal and telling the injectors to fire and the coil as well.....

I'm sure your sick of hearing this by now, but I forgot to hook the afm up one day and it acted a lot like that shown in the video. I only drove it 50 meters before plugging it back in. The afm itself may be fine. But is the wiring in good condition?

i have tried another afm. same thing. it acts like a flat spot in the throttle and once it stumbles it is gasping for air and like the motor is freezing and not taking air in or getting rid of exhaust.
the wiring from th tps/amf/wts/hac is all good and new.

Ok... I have read your whole post and something triggered in my head that made me reference a repair I did on my friends Talon when I had my Laser (talon with attitude)
He tried his hardest to fix a miss in his ignition and couldnt find it at all... in the end he was about to sell the car when I asked him if he had double checked all his grounds and if he had tried using a different computer.
He found a bad ground wire (used ohm setting for testing) and the miss got better but it still fell on its face when he hit the throttle. I put my working computer in his car and it ran like nothing was wrong.
Something to try.. if your in BC you can come try my computer from my supra... before someone buys the package I am listing shortly lol

Looks like he already tried that. See Post #69

WOW, I am so stumped by this. I agree with edgesledder. It does sound ignition related.
˟˟˟˟ed If I know what to do.
When you checked the spark with the spare CPS and no fuel did you check all 6 for spark?

yea they all fire while running as well. so i dont know. it is just like if it hits that slight throttle there is a switch that turns on and f's everything up like it is not igniting at the correct time.
