You sure about the axles? That front axles is definitely AISAN.

I did not know about it until I seen his truck. So the only thing really American on the Japanese Jeep is the name.

oh ya the ones in it now came from a land bruiser prado. yota 8"
i was refering to the only thing American is the name. stock it has dana axles and t-case my bad

well here are some updates to the 1uz jeep

well after about 5 days of wiring and endless night on the net look for wire diagrams and drowning my frustrations with Natty Light, i got the whore running. now i got build my relay board tidy up the wires and have it done so i can move on to getting it road worthy. i still have to plum in the mass air flow and put in o2 sensors.
here is a video sounds nice considering i made the headers. its got 2.5" 28" long summit glass packs on it

nice , so what did you end up doing with the oil filter ... What did you use.
I found this block on lextreme but dont know where to get it yet.

Those are really clever ways to start the restoration!What brand did you you use with the headers anyway?I've been hearing borla and gibson but replacement is a lot cheaper as what I've seen in this jeep headers dealer page.
