Great swap, about to finally get going on mine as well. I'm using the auto too, but I'll be going 2wd for phase 1, no AC and hopefully keeping cruise control. @Toyminator, did you keep cruise control?

No because mine is only used off road but it wouldn't be too hard to include it. Just need to find a place under the hood of the Toyota to put it.

So the inch worm adapter isn't available in 21 spline any more, when did you order it?

I want to get it but would rather use the 21 spline case as i have 2 of them

They show the plate in the picture it should come with it

was wondering if there was a difference in the intake elbow for the air box from a ls400 vs sc400? cant seem to fit this sc400 air box like others had! or is there a special mod?

Most eliminate the hard plastic duct piece coming right off the throttle body.

Grab a rubber factory intake gasket off a old rx7, it's shorter and you can almost make it fit, between the maf and tube. Most of the cutting will be done to the factory air box, the ref just wants to see that the maf/map is working and behind the air box.
The only difference between the ls and sc intake tub is the size of the silencer under it. It took me 2 days at the pick and pulls and a day mounting both to realize that.

By the way the ref at Fairfield just passed a 80 p/u with a obd2 1uz swap.
