Vapor pressure sensor, VC

Im still fighting the throttle by wire and have come to the conclusion that my missing vapor pressure sensor is the cause for my problem. The wires for the vps come through the firewall on connector ii4 (2002 4runner), but have no mate within the cab because there was no vps on my 92, is there anyway to trick the ecu or otherwise bypass the vapor pressure sensor? Thanks in advance Ed.

Where ya get the sensor? How did ya mount it, just drill a hole and epoxy it?

the way it mounts is sort of strange you need a piece that is on the fuel tank that the vps clips onto. Best bet would be to find one in a junkyard then you just cut a hole in your tank and mount it. You can buy the vps on ebay but you'll have a hard time mounting it without the piece that actually attached to the tank ...
