i dont if you see or know of the downey headers for the 3.0. it runs both headers down and the crossover and under the trans instead of behind the engine. it clears the fuel line and brake lines with the 3.0 so the 3.4 shouldnt be an issue. i did put some heat tape around those areas. this is why the 1" BL should be considered imo 1" BL isnt that bad. i kinda want to do it on mine but i have no need currently.

maybe you can work with this and get some custom pipes made to fit

I had a set of doug thorley headers that used the same design.

Im guessing the demand isnt there for a set of headers for a 3.4 engine that fit an early gen truck/runner.

I chose a set of Doug Thorley Headers for my 3.4 swap because they were the shortest headers which allowed me the most flexibility to reroute the crossover to the driver's side. I just cut and sectioned the original crossover, reusing most of the pipes with a 6" flex fitting and adding some pieces from a 2.5" J-tube from Summit. Once all the finishing welding and test fitting of the trans and starter was finished, I had it all ceramic coated like the original Thorley Headers are.

Yeah I'm not going to argue that... but it works pretty good for someone who can't fab their own fancier stuff. And I got the feeling if something went bad they would probably send out another one.

I was not a fan of body lifts but thats what I ended up doing. 2" 4crawler kit that was great quality.

I am glad that I did it now however. Without it I could not run my triple transfer case shifters, it made building my crossover MUCH easier because I was able to cut, attach, rotate and tack weld in place and see instantly any filament issues and fix them immediately.

It should make fitting 35s down the line easiers as well after the sas.

I would do the bl...just because it leave that much more space to work with while putting the motor in...atleast I hope because the motor mounts were kind of a bitch coming out on the rear driverside bolt...lol...I'm in the middle of installing my lift, I went and removed most of body mounts but then realized I was running late for work...lol
