T-100 3.4l swap donor question
Hello all! Please, if this is in the wrong section please relocate.
Anyways! I have an automatic 1992 4x4 toyota pickup with a 3vz on it's last legs. I came across a 3.4L T-100 with a 5vz ripe for a rebuild. The T-100 is still complete so I can grab whatever is needed. Are there any other parts other than the obvious I need to grab? Is there anything I need off of a 4runner to make this swap fit into the 92 pickup?
Sorry but most threads that I've read/seen about a 3.4 swap are those going into a 4runner. Thanks in advance.

I used a T100 for my swap as well. I used the harness from the T100. thats really all I needed. I had my fabricator adapt the Y pipe so the exhaust goes down the left side because my 4runner is a 4x4.

Awesome. Did you end up using the 4x4 trans? Or did you you swap in something else? Auto or 5 speed?

I’m in the middle of a swap as well on a 90 pickup it’s all mounted just need to finish wiring, but I used original mounts, pan, trans, clutch parts and used a swap crossover from Yotashop. My swap I just got as a motor so had to get a few things like wiring/ecu, evap box, swap fuel line/coolant hoses from ORS
i may end up getting a swap harness if I can’t figure out the wiring but giving it a try first the harness is most spendy part for me
