Is this right?
This is what I have hooked up to my fc wire. The fp doesn't come on until I crank it over and after its running I can unhook this wire and it shuts off.
So finally got my swap running today. Only real question I have is I had to hook up my fc wire from the ecm to ground wire to the original maf connector on the 22re. When it's connected it runs fine. Soon as I unhook the wires it shuts off. Does that sound like it's right? The recipient is a 87 truck with a 22re. I tried hooking the fc wire to the green wire at the body harness but it didn't work. Aaaand as usual I'm sure I'm forgetting to give all the right details so you can shoot me now lol. Let me know what you think.

Is that the 22RE VAFM (not MAF) connector? Isn't that a part of the 22RE engine harness that was removed along with the 22RE engine (it was with my 91 3.0, so I'm surprised to see it still there)?
All of your COR wiring should be done in the passenger kick-panel, either as part of the "body/dash harness" or as part of your "conversion harness" (that mates the 3.4 engine harness to the 87's body/dash harness). I jumped right to the COR because that's the circuit that I've seen FC and FP relating to.
How about basics: What year, make, model engine (ECU really) did you swap in? Transmission? Did you do the wiring yourself or get a harness from ORS or TOS?

Yes that's the original 22re connector. I left it there so I didn't cut into the harness not knowing what else was in there. I tried hooking the fc to the green wire out of the cor in the kick panel and the motor ran for a second. This is the only way I've found to make it run for longer than 2 seconds.

So I looked into that connector and I have my test wire from the fc hooked into the green wire on it. Now when I have my fc wire hooked into the thicker green wire on the body plug in the kick panel it shuts the motor off after a sec or two. Should I be looking for a another green wire in the kick panel? There is only one green wire in the plugs or can I splice into the green wire right at the cor?

I'm using the engine harness and ecm from a 97 4Runner m/t. I have both ewds. I've got my obd plug hooked up all my grounds grounded, batt hooked up to 12v constant all my +b hooked up to 12v switched and I hooked up the black and red wire from the igniter to the 12v switched also

So as of now the only way I can keep the truck running is to jump the green wire from the cor directly to ground. Cor checks out as far as the fsm goes. I have power everywhere I should. Been going at this for close to a month and no luck so far. Checking the fc wire and it goes to ground with the key on but doesn't get 12v while cranking(it's suppose to do this right?). ANY help will be much appreciated. At a total loss right now

Got it all figured out. My biggest issue was a battery that was no good. It gave 12v readings but just wasn't good enough for when I was cranking for the ecm to ground the cor through the fc wire.
