I had a small screwdriver that I had to grind on all 4 sides until it fit in the hole for the pin connector . oh but it was for a 1uz swap not 3.4 , should work the same though.

Snap On make a small kit to take those pins out of factory plugs.

SnapOn is pricey and hard to locate unless you have a regular truck but I am sure that other tool companies sell the same thing.

Yea I finally got all my out took alot of practice and the ecu plugs from my 02 donor suck no matter how great u are. took me about a day to learn to properly unlock and pick them but now I'm a plug removing fool. unpinned the whole 3.0 harness for practice. good stuff guys. I used a bobby pin for most of the smaller connectors eventually my fingers got sore so I went to the 99 cent store and got a small screwdriver set and went to town on em on the bench grinder.
