New guy
Just thought I’d say hello,
owned a few Toyotas over the yrs but never have done much mechanically to them other than standard maintenance stuff. I’ve built a few muscle cars from the ground up so mechanics isn’t something new.
I picked up a 95 Runner limited with an auto, 3rd row seating and 4:88’s in the rear differential. It had a 3.4 in it out of a 2001 SR5 Runner with an auto but the swap wasn’t complete but for the price I couldn’t pass it up.
Other than that I don’t know much about the donor and can’t read much of the numbers on the ECU. So hopefully when I start downloading wiring diagrams I won’t have troubles finding the correct ones for the donor

Take a look on the front passenger side of the block behind the fan stand, if you’re lucky enough, you might find a vin tag riveted to the block, otherwise check the engine harness just behind the firewall boot for a part number 82121-????? Note only 4Runner engines had vin tags on the block
