Igniter or Not?

Ok I bought a 2000 3.4l from a 5sp Tacoma. I'm a bit confused though. Do the 3.4's have igniter's? I seem to be coming up with conflicting info in my searches.

Yes they do, Jason has it right. Pass side inner fender.

The pass bank on the head has the coils, and the drivers side uses plug wires that attach to those coils. All the toyotas have now gone to coil packs in the cylinders, with seperate ignitors.
