I need a favor from anyone who has used a 3.4 alternator and spliced the 3.4 plug into the 3.0 harness. I was unable to locate a 3.4 alternator plug to splice, so I bought one from a connector website. The problem is it was a generic so it came with just a red,blue and yellow wire. Without the factory colors, I dont know how to splice my 3.0 harness into it. Can somebody who has done this please let me know what location on the 3.4 plug each one of the 3.0 wires goes to? Even a picture would be greatly appreciated. Thanks ahead of time!

 

Basically if the alternator is mounted the top wire is yellow, middle is red, bottom is white.

Take those and just match the colors to your 3.0 harness.

Thank you, got it all wired up and shes charging. All done with the swap now, besides finding an OBDII port so I can check for any problems.
