I have been trying to piece a conversion package together WHAT A PAIN IN THE REAR.Bought a motor and was searching CL for a harness/ECU and found one in a 98 taco/4wd/ auto with all the sensors i wanted to pull off for 150 bucks(sweet right)but wait it gets better.I go to pick it up an the guy says he doesn't have time to swap the motor into his 4runner so I ask how much for he whole truck 1200.I bought the whole truck with 162k miles. SORRY to bore you guys but had to share my joy since my wife doesn't care for me telling her anymore.

 

haha nice! i got my entire doner vehicle for 1200 too! be patient and you will get a good deal sooner or later good luck on the swap...

 

Sweet! I know how both of those are. Finally find a good donor that is affordable and a having a wife that doesn't appreciated the excitement of a wrecked truck!

 

Mine doesn't have any excitement at all except when she can get in and go to the store....g/f / wives (some) just dont understand

 

I hear ya to man! I installed an e locker this last weekend, and she didn't even care! THE NERVE!

 

Ya I scored a complete elocker with switch and harness for $150 and she didn't seem all that excited.
