Does anyone know what IH1 pin 12 is for?

Attempting to finish up my adapter harness and can't seem to locate on the EWD for the '93 4runner where or to what IH1 Pin 12 connects to. If anyone can give me some insight on where this pin goes, it would be greatly appreciated.

Once that is determine, I can hopefully then connect final slices on vehicle which are 2 for the cruise control (E5 Pin 11 and IK2 Pin 13), and 1 for ODBII pwr.

Thanks!

I only have 93 pickup, so it may be different, but from the main 3vz ewd, it just looks like its a ground?? on mine, it goes from a18 on the ecu, to c1 12, and then a splice joint to ground. it says C and C for the wire?? never seen this before. And also that pin may be different for you too..

Thanks Hamish.

Yeah, I can not find IH1 12 on my EWDs. I looked through the Overall EWD and searched the individual system EWDs. Guess I need to get my DVM from my buddy so I can ohm this out. Hopefully, it's just a gnd like you stated.

I appreciate your help and feedback and again thanks for the response.

good luck with the rest of the swap! weird my 93 truck has that wire, and the 94 truck doesn't, and the 91 4runner doesn't. Curious what the hell that wire is for now! lol

I looked at 92, 93, and 94 4runners ewd and couldnt find a pin 12 on IH1 used for anything, you might make sure you didnt get counting it backwards - I did that a few times when I was making my conversion harness, it just makes you go cross eyed after looking at that for too long. Also list what the wire color is from the factory

Update: So I had time to ohm out the wire today after work. This wire (w/g) in my application goes to E6 (A) 18 (SEL1 to GND) but in the EWD it says the wire is br and never shows the IH1 connector. The EWD also shows it as being for a 2wd AT, so maybe I should leave it disconnected until I know for sure it's needed. Thoughts????

Thanks jasond. I double checked and recounted multiple times to make sure I had the correct location and wire. Thanks to you and hamish18 for the feedback.

Now to move on to the next major task... the exhaust.

I dont mean to raise the dead here, but what did you do for Ih1 pin 6, 7, and 12?
I dont see a 'check connector' in the 5VZ that the pin 6 plugs into

Hey Fr1tzy,

IH1.6 is a No Connect on harness

IH1.7 is for the AC amplifier and I haven't done anything with that yet. I was saving for a later date.

IH1.12, I think I connected it to ground but I need to verify. I will attempt to locate where I put all of my documentation for my wiring harness and I will confirm what I did with this wire hopefully tomorrow.

Hope that helps.

Nice IH1. 6 was obvious. I should have seen there was no connection between the fuel pump and opening relay to OBD on the 5VZ.

IH1 7 and 12 are still hiding from me though. The EWD shows no connection for IH1 7 in the A/C section unless im blind or they just forgot to put it in for the '92 issue of the EWD.
Does anyone know which section in the EWD the two pins show up in?

IH1 7 is in the AC section. I could never find IH1 12 in the EWDs but I did ohm it out with a DVM and got a continuity to gnd. Mine runner is a '93 so these wires may be in a different pin or connector location on yours.
